Meanstreets performance started out as a car club
in 1987 made up of street racers who were looking to take the race off the streets and onto the track. Founded by Vince Ortiz
, Richard Soliman , with the help of Al Rodriquez and Scott Christensen. As a group or club,discounts and race vouchers were
availible.If a club member was approched on the street and challenged to a race a voucher was given as a track pass...loser
pays all entrance fees.It was a way to get illegal racers off the streets and introduce them to the track where they can have
a fair and safe racing enviroment. The club name was also used as the name of my "hobby" shop.

As the club grew, skills were developed in the
art of race deception , mini tubbing , hidden roll cages , hidden nitrous systems , hidden RAM air systems , chassis lightening
, portable traction material spayers , etc. Thus fabrication was a natural progression for me. Over the years we have build
over a dozen complete vehicles , modifyed many more in our 10,000 sq ft shop in Oakland California. Smaller custom parts are
made to owners specifications , an aspect of this business I would like to hone and expand on. Please explore the site and
